That is truly terrible. What ever happened to a second bill? a phone call perhaps? A chance for you to let her know “the check is in the mail.”
As she says “What goes around, comes around.” with that kind of attitude, she’ll def get hers some day. You can take comfort knowing you paid her for her services, not her crackpot opinions.
I am speechless! How… why… who… GAH! Is this person the owner of the company, or is there someone else that you can escalate this to? I certainly would. No one who offers hospice care should be this vindictive. If you were sent to a collections agency, that’s one thing. But to call out your personal character in a time of mourning? That is wholy unacceptable.
I hope you’ve told the Better Business Bureau and posted this letter all over the internet. These people don’t deserve to be given the opportunity to care for anybody’s loved ones.
I’m so terribly sorry that this happened to you. 🙁
