Hey! Wanted to let you know that I am still kicking hinder on my resolutions. I just added a bunch of good sammich photos to my flickr. Sorry I fell behind in my documentation. Clicky.

After watching the following clip, I have compulsively recreated the sound this kitten makes while petting my own kittens, while eating pretty much anything delicious, upon hearing compliments, while watching other people eat anything delicious, and while making out.

You have been warned.

was yesterday! I turned 38 which i consider “pushing pushing 40.”

Anyway, I realized that I’ve never blogged about the amazing gift I got for birthday #34. My friends and family pitched in and paid Jad Fair to write a song for me. No, really. JAD FAIR!

Things I love that are referenced: octopi, sushi, popcorn, sweets, “less crap more art,” paul loving me, other people’s children, saying “woo,” and bunnies. (FYI: this was when I ran an afterschool program for kids, and right before I started felting.)

I’m guessing these were collectable tapestries made by tobacco companies back before lung cancer was invented, but I’m not entirely sure.

First up, we have the You Bazaar, featuring 30+ select craft vendors selling quality handmade wares and a series of rotating workshops throughout the day with some of your favorite plush designers, including me!

The 4th annual Plush You! show at Schmancy opens this Friday, Oct. 10th from 5 – 8 p.m. I’ll be there gawking at the genius of others, and I’ll have some pieces showing there myself.

Don’t live in Seattle? Plush You! is growing this year with shows and workshops scheduled for November in San Francisco, and December in New York.
